Pittenweem is a traditional fishing village in the East Neuk of Fife with a lovely harbour that is still used by commercial fishing. Alongside the harbour area you will see nets and lobster pots stacked and ready for use. The houses in the village have a traditional local design with red or grey slate roofs, with stone or painted harled frontages. Nearby is Kellie Castle and gardens, a National Trust for Scotland property. Within the village is St Fillan's Cave and it can be entered through a locked gate for a small charge per person with children going free.
