Fraserburgh is an important commercial and fishing port at the far north east corner of Aberdeenshire. The coastline around Fraserburgh has many activities and attractions for visitors to the area. For avid walkers there is plenty to explore. The lighthouse at Kinnaird Head is part of the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses, and along with the Fraserburgh Heritage Museum, are places to visit and learn about local and Scottish History of the north east coast of Scotland. The Fraserburgh Golf Course borders the beautiful sandy beach, dunes and the Waters of Philorth Nature Reserve.
