Banff is a historic town on the north coast of Aberdeenshire and is an ideal location for playing golf, with two courses within a short distance of the town, walking, fishing and other outdoor pursuits. Walk around the town exploring the outstanding traditional architecture for this area of Scotland, including the old harbour, which has recently been developed as a marina. Historically the town was well known for traditional fishing, including herring fishing. You can learn more about local history at the Banff Museum. The nearby town of Macduff is across the River Deveron.
