It provides a delightful place or rest and peace after an active day of Hill walking or sightseeing, fishing or wildlife watching either from a boat cruise from nearby Gairloch (5 Miles) or from the very pleasant Golf course at Gairloch. There are walks to Loch Maree from Gairloch and catch up on the history of nearby Aultbea with its crucial role in the activities of the Second World War and the naval convoys to Russia.
See the local Gruinard Island which played a controversial role in biological warfare. There are many, many activities in which to participate in the area (not forgetting diving facilities in nearby Little Loch Broom).
After your hectic or quiet day feast at one of the local hostelry at Gairloch or one of the Hotels and come back to ‘The Creagan’ for a quiet restful and invigorating nights sleep.
