This picture of the Callanish Standing stones was taken at dusk in the spring. It is a little out of focus as I was also trying to keep my dogs on the lead and deal a high wind - I should have been using a tripod and spent more time at this fascinating location on the Isle of Lewis. I have got to plan to go back again soon and visit the standing stones during the day and also visit the Historic Scotland information centre on Callanish and the other Standing Stones on the Outer Hebrides.
