Glasgow
Glasgow is the city I think fondly of with it's history of ship building and other industrial greats. Today it is a city of culture and should be on everyone list to visit when they come to Scotland, or live in other areas of Scotland. Buy Books on Scotland.
The city has many outstanding places to visit and I would suggest that you also take some time to visit Clydebank and look at some of our wonderful industrial heritage along the clyde. I just love looking at the skyline and seeing the large cranes that illistrate our historical importance in ship building. I wish we had not lost this.
Today Glasgow is a centre of excellence with loads of shops and places to visit with kids. The Glasgow Botanic Gardens is one place to put on your visit list and with the Kibble Palace being renovated we are seeing some of our wonderful heritage not only being preserved it is being re-born for everyone to celebrate and enjoy.
