The gardens are beautiful and when you consider that they are growing at the north of Scotland, near Dunnet Head, Scotland's most northerly point then is goes to show what can be achieved with shelter - a walled garden that also uses internal hedges to provide a good shelter belt. It also gives credit to the garden staff who lovingly look after the Queen Mother's garden.
