totmtom 920t case July 7, 2008 Excellent product was a bit sceptical when i read the reviews as everyone moans its tight . It was tight-ish but i found this a bit petty really does the job well. would have given it 5 stars but there was no carry strap
Carry Case zip May 23, 2008 What a disappointment, yes it looks good and the zip is tight which is a real problem because the zip traveller is made of such cheap metal that whenever you put the slightest pressure on it to close the zip, the zip tag invariably comes away in your hand. I have now returned my third case and will be buying no more. I am sure for just a few more pence spent on production costs it would be worth it, but for this money i want my zip to stay on the case not come off in my hand. Not recommended unless you really must keep tom toms profits high.
Worth having but treat with care... May 21, 2008 My wife and I have two '20' series TomToms with cases. Yes, they are a snug fit but 6 months on, the zips are still intact and the cases good protection. Ideally sized to slip into pockets/bags etc.
Just a shame they didn't come as standard with the TomTom itself!
Rubbish May 18, 2008 I received the case as a part of the offer for the Go 520. Th zip was always stiff and now the pull tag has parted company with the zip and has to be moved painfully by finger, some offer that was, am now searching around for a case up to the job. The case itself is good, zip mechanism rubbish. Particularly disapointed as I take care of my stuff and it normally lasts.
TomTom Carrycase May 3, 2008 I blame myself. Having read the many reports criticising the zip on this case, I decided it couldn't be as bad as that, so I went ahead and bought one. I told my wife as I opened the packaging that I would need to be careful because it was meant to be fragile when ,lo and behold ,the little puller came off in my hand. I think it's ridiculous that an item selling at this price has had such a basic design flaw for so long.
