1 out of 5 stars I wish i hadn't bought this   July 12, 2007

I was interested in an insight into the Dunblane Massacre. this book says very little about it. I only read a litle bit but it just rambling rubbish, obsessed with filth, with very litle insight. I would never want to be familiar with this author... don't buy this book.

4 out of 5 stars A must for established Sotos readers   February 1, 2007

If you're considering buying this book then, unlike the reviewer below, you probably have a pretty good idea of what you're buying. If you're familiar with Sotos' work, none of the content here will come as a surprise; personally, I don't think it has the weight of some of his other books - Selfish, Little etc., but still includes some classic pieces of amazing Sotos prose. If it's possible for his work to be in any way 'self-reflective', then Predicate does come across as that at times. If you're already a Sotos fan, you don't need to be told by me to buy it - worth your cash!

1 out of 5 stars Not of the substance demanded   September 15, 2006

I bought this book thinking it would shed more light on the Dunblane massacre, in paricular the many police failings and the subsequant cover up. In fact there is relatively little about Dunblane. It is a review of child pornography world wide with a lot of really disgusting details. Don't buy it.
