This really is a well-put-together series: the routes are well chosen, the descriptions are easy to follow but not oppressive, the maps are great and the photographs are stunning.

Williams has managed to make the book remarkably practical, whilst being great to look at. If I had a coffee-table small enough I'd definitely put this book on it. As it is, I'll have to leave it in my fleece pocket. Just in case...
